Before you request me as a friend, you should know this first:  I'm a REAL person, living a simple life. I know no special people (of power that is), have no money, no influence. I'll do what I can for a cause, and take it as far as I am able. I sign petitions that are important to me, my family, what I think would benefit the world, only after I READ them.

I am NOT a fan of rabid activists who nominate themselves as saints.   Believeing in something passionately does not give the right to be rude to others and tell them they are not "enough", or have not done enough, when on such a diverse and large site as this,  there is no possible way for you to know what someone has or has not done. It has been my experiance that those that shout the loudest about how much they have done, and that no one else cares, are usually the most shallow and angry of people.

If I see a chosen friend behave in such a way, I will remove them and block them from my list. I bond with people that like to have real conversations, share experiances and their life, the things that matter to them and work quietly and steadfastedly till change comes, without waving the martyr flag. 

I'm tired of people asking for my friendship only to inundate me with their "ads" and agendas and no real personal contact.  So if you don't plan to get to know me and have conversations regularly, please don't bother me. I can read the articles and get along fine as I am.  Now, of course I don't have daily contact with my oldest friends and family, but I think you know exactly what I'm talking about. Please don't "collect" me, I'm not a coin.

This is such a great site, that contact of humanity, but don't forget who you are, or who the other person is (can be) in your search for justice.
