About Me I'm a middle-aged grandmother who would like to see my grandkids grow up in a world where women have the same rights as men, and are able to choose what to do with their own bodies. Where there is no news of species becoming extinct and protected wilderness areas truly ARE protected. Where torture, terror and intolerance due to race, religion or lifestyle no longer exist. My Philosophy I believe there is a power greater than me with both male and female aspects. I don't think it matters what you call it. I believe there is life after death and that we all need to treat each other with kindness and understanding. And we need to preserve our world for future generations.
What Gives Me Hope My grandkids.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Adopt stricter emissions legislation. Ban Nascar until it comes up with an alternative, non-polluting, non-oil-based fuel and ban the manufacture of internal combusion engines for family vehicles, in favor of all-hybrid models.
What/who changed my life and why Dr. King, the Kennedys, and Gail C. Christopher. I worked with Gail and she taught me a lot about how the world works and how we can work to make it better.
