Animals are the center of my universe. I love all animals and get a great deal of satisfaction in helping animals through my TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) of feral cats, my rescue of dumped animals, my advocating for their right to live. I also find that animals bring a lkind of magic into my life that probably makes sense to no one but me, but--believe me--it's there. It motivates me and inspires me to keep on going. I have experienced many strange, fascinating moments in my life--many which have been witnessed by others--that are simply unexplainable. I hesitate to say miraculous but they are moments that I believe have been made possible through my connection with animals. And this connection has become more pronounced as I've gotten older. I guess what I'm saying here is I think we all have connections to something or to someone that makes these spiritual moments possible. If you don't know where your spiritual connection lies, reach into your heart and your head, and find it. It's there; it's just we don't always see.
An independent, working woman who has learned how unimportant material wealth is. It's the giving, the sharing of your heart that's important in life. It's all about making a positive difference in the world. It doesn't have to be anything big, the little things add up. If we all contribute, the world could be kinder, healthier, and happier. My little contributions usually center on helping four legged friends but that's the first stop in my heart; there are other stops too.
