The video is a clip from the movie "Obsession", which is about the truth behind the real goals and beliefs of Radical Islam, and of how much we are their enemy. I wish them only peace.
Mickey Louis our beautiful wonder puppy. He is truly our baby.
pbuttercup@care2.com
calm, caring, fun, loves to read and play on computer, care about many of life's problems, but particularly support The War Amps and World Vision. I got my toy poodle puppy Mickey Louis on March 9/05 and have taken him to obedience school, where he came first in his class! He is simply the best and most beautiful puppy in the world, and I love him dearly, and so does my husband Hans. The most wonderful thing is how much he loves us back. He is truly a blessing, for which I give thanks on a daily basis! *lol*
I am a Domestic Goddess ~ I stay at home and do what I want, when I want, most of the time. I take great pleasure in being able to do this, and find that is helps to compensate for the things I can no longer do/work at. I love all good people and animals, and always try to help when I can. I have some very close and dear friends that I would do anything for, and I have many more friends across the world who I have yet to meet. I am extremely laid back, and look and act young for my age. I think because Hans and I never had children we never had to grow up ourselves. We are in a forever and ever committed marriage, and it's wonderful.
I love to work in my gardens, veggie and flowers, and I love the rewards they bring.
I love to decorate my house with all the collections that we have ~ books, fake food, antique furniture, antique tools, original paintings and handcarved wood made by Hans, who is a trained artist and Landscape Designer, photos, antique framed stained-glass windows, stationery, stickers, cat stuff, buttons, shells, coral (don't worry, it was dead when we collected it!), rocks, mason jars, brass, sunflowers, too many to mention. This past Christmas (2005) I got a treasured espresso maker, so my newest hobby is collecting espresso cups and saucers.
I'm a very loyal friend.
I talk on the phone too much.
I get obsessed about things, and they take over my life ~ lol.
It is 6 years after I wrote the above. My illnesses make me unable to do much outside of the house now, and I'm getting worse. I haven't been here for the past year, and don't know if I'll be coming back. What is written here is no longer true in a lot of ways, but this is how I used to be.
I saw the Beatles twice in Toronto, once when I was 12, and then when I was 13. The first time I went with my cousin, and when the concert was over the paramedics had to take me out of my seat because my hands were "frozen" into fists and I could not move. They had to take me into the infirmary and give me air, undid my pants and top, and let me calm down before they would let me go.
I have worn a peace sign of one kind or another around my neck since I was 13. I now have a small gold one on a gold chain that my husband gave me a few years ago for my birthday, and I never take it off.
I saw every major group who came out in the 60's and 70's, such as the Rolling Stones, Who, Clapton, ELP, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Dylan, Moody Blues, Yes, Cat Stevens, Genesis, Fleetwood Mac, etc.
My best friend is my younger sister.
I love talking on the phone, and have phone plans that I can call across Canada and the U.S. so that I can talk to all my friends quite often without it costing too much.
My hair is down to my waist.
I was a hippie and lived in a commune with 12 other people in 1970.
My Philosophy
Compassionate Objectivism, but also live and let live, and help whenever and wherever help is needed.
What Gives Me Hope
Always, my grown up nieces and nephews, and the adult children of my friends, who almost all have pursued/are pursuing higher education and are very good people and concerned citizens. I do not mind leaving the world in their capable hands ~ they all show that they care more about it than my own generation really did when we were their age.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
if I were the Prime Minister of Canada I would promote a flat tax.
What/who changed my life and why
the person who changed my life is my husband, because he is so "together" within himself. He has taught me not to be judgmental, to keep things in perspective, to love and be loved entirely and exclusively.
