"Analogy for the authentic self. Imagine a snowstorm. Snowstorms are comprised of an infinite number of individually distinctive snowflakes. Each snowflake is a unique expression within the collective snowstorm. These snowflakes have no control over their individual shape, or where they fall on the Earth. They do not control when they will melt, or what will happen while they are on the ground. While on their journey upon the Earth, some snowflakes become snowmen. Other snowflakes may simply get stepped on. Eventually, all snowflakes blend together as life giving waters.
Ultimately, each snowflakes’ existence contributes their individual beauty and uniqueness to create the collective. The Divine embodiment, which is the natural beauty of each unique snowflake, is the authentic self. What and who we are in our core, our authentic self, is a Divine aspect of the collective."
