Java is my morning routine. Often times have that minus food. Very aware that this is not healthy, but I take that as one of my little 'vices'. As I become more aware of life, the generosity of others and the inhumanity of many...I choose to take care at the most basic of levels. I go back to the old saying of "charity begins at home". Trust me, I'm honoring that in several ways. That's why I don't go out there and "ra-ra" for every marathon or rally. I've got my basic group to help along on their endeavors.
Look around, step back and begin to see your part of the world in a clearer light. It may start to place the rest of the world's insanity into another dimension.
Thanks for taking a moment to read this rambling. Have a safe, and happy day.
Like to sharpen metal items. Love to play TS2 and all the EPs (for those in the know, I don't have to explain.) No problem eating suppertime foods for breakfast.

2009 update: Crazy yet slightly normal? life... parents are at the mature stage of life. That stage where a routine of medical appointments, failing of several of the 5 senses, annoyance with their physical shortcomings are becoming the norm. One continues to work, try to keep in contact with friends & relatives while keeping up with aging parents. Many ups & downs. This is why this page is infrequently updated. Thanks to all who've left messages & my apologies for not replying.
It is with profound regret that I announce the passing of a delightful young chap.
Spencer Bruce Dolling - May 12, 1995 to May 21, 2008 succumbed to neuroblastoma
His & the loving family that was active is making life "LIFE", are what families should be about. Caring, sharing, laughing, loving and enjoying every moment.
Spencer...your short life has touched many others and has enriched each one. Thank you!
Greetings and wishing one and all a healthy 2008. I'm around however nowhere near as frequent as in previous years. This past few months have been a personal struggle with health issues. Shan't bore everyone with details. Let's just say I'm on the mend & hope to stay in touch a little more frequently.
Stay happy, healthy and try to find a little bit of joy each and every day!

Okay, I didn't like seeing a petition that shows e-Bay accepts Bats under glass as 'art'. Heck I don't like seeing bats anywhere but their own habitat. Crazy that humans would consider this 'art'. Just frickn' c-r-a-z-y!
