I believe our spirits to have great power and that there are a great many people in this world who have loving, caring and beautiful spirits. In fact, I believe these to be the majority of people in our world. If we all would open our spirits and let them rise through our voices and our actions, we could drown out those who have evil and violence in their spirits. With these voices and actions we can make this a better world for all species who reside here. Do not hide your beautiful spirit.
Let it rise. Let it be heard.

She Was Only 5 Years Old.

Her dad was a drunk
Her mom was an addict
Her parents kept her
Locked in an attic

Her only friend
was a little toy bear
It was old and worn out
And had patches of hair

She always talked to it
When no one's around
She lays there and hugs it
Not a peep of sound

Until her parents
unlock the door
Some more and more pain
She'll have to endure

A bruise on her leg
A scar on her face
Why would she be
In such a horrible place?

But she grabs her bear
And softly cries
she loves her parents
But they want her to die

she sits in the corner
Quiet but thinking,
"Please God, why is
my life always sinking? "

Such a bad life
For a sad little kid
She'd get beaten and beaten
For anything she did

Then one night
Her mom came home high
And the poor child was beaten
As hours went by

Then her mom suddenly
Grabbed for a blade
It was sharp and pointy
One that she made

She thrust the blade
Right into her chest,
"You deserve to die
You worthless piece of shit!

The mom walked out
Leaving the girl slowly dieing
She grabbed her bear
And again started crying

Police showed up
At the small little house
Then quickly barged in
Everything quiet as a mouse

One officer slowly
Opened a door
To find the little girl
Lying dead on the floor

It must have been bad
To go through so much harm
But at least she died
With her best friend in her arms.

People ask me why I am not a Christian. Here is one of the biggest and strongest reasons. What kind of God lets this happen to the innocent?

2006 Statistics (PDF)

child abuse in USA - statistics

When will we put as much value on the life of these children, who have already been born, as we do on those who have not yet taken their first breath? If we can not protect those we already have, why would we force more women to have even more unwanted and unloved children? How many more children will have to endure this kind of existence before we put an end to it world wide once and for all?How many children will be abused and neglected before all people stand up and say " Enough!!!"?

Wild Fact About Me I am an extremely solitary and private person. Partly due to personality and partly due to circumstances.
My Philosophy All life is important and all life should be respected and preserved. All people deserve and should have equal rights. Freedom of choice means our freedom to make our own choices in every aspect of life as long as we are willing to take the responsibility for those choices. Instead of fighting, bickering, abusing, and killing each other, we are supposed to be loving, caring, supportive, of each other. Until people start taking a stand against the injustices mankind commit we are doomed.
What Gives Me Hope Children. Until children are taught differently they can be taught to treat people, animals and nature better.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by make much stricter laws re: child, spouse, senior, and animal abusers, pedophiles, and rapists. Legalize gay marriage, enforce separation of church and state.
What/who changed my life and why My son, Michael, because having a child made me more aware of the value of life. He made me more aware of the world around me.
And my husband. showed me that speaking my mind and being myself was okay and could make a difference in this world
