Wild Fact About Me I love eccentric people
My Philosophy Walk Softly But Carry a Big Stick, which means to me to be gentle and kind as much as it is possible to be, but at the same time to be strong and not accept tyrrany or abuse be it mental, emotional, physical, political, economic, or spiritual.
Also to think for yourself and live your own truth, follow the guidance of your own heart and not blindly accept anything as truth or good or right just because someone else says it's so, God or whatever you call your higher power will always speak to you through your heart and will always guide you to feel what is good and right and true
What Gives Me Hope Hero's such as Paul Watson and the Sea Shepard.
The basic goodness inherent in all people
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Get the money and corruption out of government, stop all wars, make preservation of our environment, great waters and wildlife a top priority along with ending hunger and ensuring the highest quality of education and healthcare for all
What/who changed my life and why The gift of having my children and now grand children has had the greatest impact, but as for movies "The Razors Edge" with Tyrone Power, Clifton Webb and Gene Tierney because it mirrored something in my own psyche about materialism not being a goal, but that spirituality, kindness and being of service in some way was the better goal and way of life. Reading the book "Be Here Now" by Ram Dass as a teenger, it hd profound effect on changing my perspective. Later reading the "Tao Te Ching" by Lao Tzu had an even more profound effect on my consciousness. Also the study of the spiritual side of Yoga and the concept of Ahimsa.

Quotation There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My heart and my brain are my temples, my religion is very simple, my religion is kindness.

Everything has it's beauty, but not everyone sees it.

All that is needed for evil to prosper is that good people do nothing.

My theory on life is that life is beautiful. Life doesn't change. You have a day, and a night, and a month, and a year. We people change - we can be miserable or we can be happy. It'ss what you make of your life.
