What Gives Me Hope	Increases in the popularity of organic food. Increases in the use of alternative energy. A worldwide growing realization that we are approaching an environmental threshold from which it may be impossible to return.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	cap the salaries of CEOs at 10X the salary of their lowest paid employee followed closely by outlawing any car or SUV that gets below 30 mpg and possibly creating a "jerk tax" for all Hummer owners; abolish fur farms; institute incentives to have pet owners spay and neuter their animals
What/who changed my life and why	House fire - May 1993. Everything my family owned went up in flames. We lived in a tiny travel trailor for eight months while we tore down the old house and built a new one. Needless to say, we are closer now.
