About Me	I'm happily married (for the most part), :) & have 2 wonderful Chihuahuas! My part-time career is professional freelance proofreading for Christian publishers (only very part-time due to several chronic illnesses, incl. fibromyalgia & arthritis). I'm waiting for my disability hearing. In no particular order, I love music, books, nature, butterflies, God's Word, my husband & dogs, my friends (though they are few due to isolation from illness & working from home), but I LOVE being able to work part-time from home! :) I LOVE to laugh! :-D I really want & try to live up to my name--JOY! :-D

Wild Fact About Me	My mom wanted to name me Roberta! Dad won, though! :) Thanks, Dad! I love you & miss you! And not too wild, but I'm mostly nocturnal--I work on manuscripts (proofreading) at weird hours, mainly due to being unable to sleep because of pain.

What Gives Me Hope	My faith, especially knowing that one day I'll be completely pain-free when I go Home to the Lord. :)

What/who changed my life and why	Accepting Jesus in my heart when I was 11; my dad's love till he went Home in 1990 (Mom's too, but I'm still a daddy's girl); and most recently watching The Passion of the Christ (not just a movie, a spiritual experience!). Also working freelance for Moody Publishers for over 11 years has shown me much more of God's astounding grace & love for us!
