Tens of thousands of people have been killed by the ongoing violence in Darfur. Another 218,000 have fled across the border to Chad. Millions more are homeless. And most are women and children, terrified while the fighting continues.

The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) is working tirelessly to meet the emergency needs of these refugees. They need protection, safety, clean water and medical care.
