Well, as promised, I have finally updated this page, and I will continue to do so as time allows. Unfortunately, there is much happening here as of late, and I will explain soon in either an alert or a blog, but for now, there are at least some photo albums to get you started so that you can get to know me and mine a bit better.
I am sincerely greatful to ALL of you for the loving support and friendship you have shown me thus far, and I can't thank you enough. I said it before and I will say it again ... I have joined some GREAT groups, made some GREAT friends, and signed even MORE petitions!I LOVE THIS PLACE!
As many of you already know, I run Honey Hill Animal Rescue, Transport & Sanctuary, which at the moment is a very small animal rescue and rehab that I started two years ago in honor of that GORGEOUS little dog in my profile pic! Her name is Honey, of course. For those new to my page ... Honey was my little girl for 16 years, and now I suspect she's my Guardian Angel, at least I'd like to think so. There is an album of some of her best moments in the gallery now, so please check it out!
A little more about me ... I am going to be 39 years old in December, and I am disabled, as I was born with both Spina-Bifida and Scoliosis, and as of a couple of years ago, I was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. Therefore, I will be the first one to admit that I can be a little slow to get things accomplished some days, which is why this update is a bit late in coming, but don't give up on me yet! LOL! There's much more coming soon!
For ANYONE interested in the animals in my adoptables album, PLEASE know that there will be more information coming on them VERY soon, as I am updating the website now. Meanwhile, if you would like to consider adopting, fostering or sponsoring one of them, please send me a message and we will talk further.
I'm very warm hearted and I love all of nature, especially the animals! I give love and seek love daily, because without love, we cannot survive. I am trustworthy, I am passionate and I love to learn new things.
Judge not, lest you be judged yourself. But, if you must, then judge a man by the way he treats his animals! For that, too, I believe, reflects how he treats all of creation.
What Gives Me Hope
My friends, belief in God and that we never truly die, but simply move on. Sun rays, moonbeams, and the animals.

Wow, that's a TOUGH one ... I can't think of just ONE thing. I guess first, I would make funding available to all animal rescue groups, ban breed specific legislation and make individual temperment tests mandatory instead, and then ban all breeding until every last shelter dog was adopted. Animal abuse would be a FELONY and pet limit laws would be assessed on a case by case basis, not one size fits all. Ah, but that's just for STARTERS!
What/who changed my life and why
My little furbaby, Honey, because she loved me unconditionallly for sixteen years and when she left this plane of existence, she showed me how to give that back to her through animal rescue. She renewed my path to the Divine, and all things spirit, and reminds me to always keep believing.
