Over the past several years, I have learned to extend my thoughts and perceptions. My life experiences and outcomes have forced me to take a hard look at how I think and operate in my own life; I stopped accepting what I thought I knew and began a journey outside of the box. During this journey, I have become quite surprised at what so may of us accept as truth without ever seeking out the various sources and information that lie behind the face of it all. Now I consider myself to be a free thinker and a continuous seeker of truth...whatever "truth" may be.
I believe that everyone has their own path in life, and only we can find the path that is right for us. Therefore, we must be open and observant to all the possibilities that present themselves to us, as opportunities usually come disguised in forms we least expect. I also believe that everyone should be accepted for who they are... no matter how different their views or lifestyles may be. Everyone has something we can learn from if we are open to receiving such.
"I think the reward for conformity is that everyone likes you except yourself."
~ Rita Mae Brown
Be your own hero: "You need to learn how to be your own hero. Nobody can save you better than yourself and nobody can destroy you more than yourself. It's all up to you. Because, the only thing we truly have control over in this world, is ourselves. " -Me!
I believe in right thought and right action. Rights come with responsibility and responsibilities come with rights!
The only thing we truly have control over in this world, is ourselves and if we don't take responsibility for our own thoughts, feelings, actions and responses, then how can we possibly keep anything else in order?
Knowledge is Power:
It is in what we know that drives
us in the decisions we make.
I'd love to own a Big Cat Sanctuary. I'd rather be in the Peace Corps. I hope to do something that proves to be helpful to others.
My Philosophy
“If you want things to be different, perhaps the answer is to become different yourself.”
-- Norman Vincent Peale

Danielle Steels "The Long Road Home". It changed my life because it helped me see that some people may treat you badly, but it doesn't mean that you deserve it.
