For starters, I look, feel, and act about 10 yrs. younger than my calendar age. No one believes my true age, hell, neither do I! The only reason I don't have a picture posted is because I don't have the computer equipment to do so. I am genuine, empathetic, compassionate, considerate, open-minded, easy-going, attractive, fun, adventurous, passionate, spiritual, deep, analytical, bright and unique. I'm always striving to better myself, and everthing & everyone around me. "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem" is my motto. I always think about how my actions affect other people and the universe as a whole. I love to help anyone or anything I can. I am, and am striving even more so to be, healthy in every way: physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and sexually. I respect my body, the earth, and everything on it. I especially love the moon; I think it's the most beautiful gift us beings here on earth have been given. Coincidentally, my nickname is Moon. I aquired that name because of my uniqueness, not my love of the moon, but it sure fits! I love it! Talk about serendipity!
I love everything from the 60's; the music, the cars (my two dream cars are a '62 Thunderbird and a '67 Cougar), the TV shows, the fashions, the hairstyles, everything. I wish I could time-travel back to the 60's! I would've been at Woodstock, Haight-Ashbury and all that stuff in a heartbeat!
You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself. (see below)
What Gives Me Hope
Oprah Winfrey. I swear she's the reincarnation of (or at least the modern-day version of) Quan Yin.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Clean up the environment and our food supply. I'd also outlaw alcohol. It causes more problems in the world than anything else.
What/who changed my life and why
Ricky Nelson and his song "Garden Party". When that song came out, I was 10 years old and my mom bought the album. I love the song, and its message is "you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself". That changed my life so much because my parents couldn't understand me, and were constantly telling me that it wasn't OK to be who I was, because I wasn't like them. They are the straightest, squarest, nerdiest, most narrow-minded, conservative and uptight 1950's-type people you could ever imagine. I, on the other hand, am the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of them. They had no idea how to handle this free-spirited, open-minded, independent, non-conformist, hippie-like, wildchild that they had. I'm sure I wasn't what they were expecting! So, I was constanly trying to buy their love and win their approval (to some extent, anyway). That song made me realize that it was OK to be who I was and not to care if anybody else liked it. I now realize that NOTHING would've ever pleased my parents. So, Ricky saved me from an effort in futility, from being a people-pleaser, and gave me license to be myself. It's amazing how a person you've never met, or a song, can change your life. Thanks, Ricky!! And for the record, Ricky also had a great voice, great music, and was TOTALLY HOT at the time. I love him!
