What can I say. A city dweller by design but can't wait to leave city life in exchange for a place in the country where I can be part of a small town where values still count. Raised in a very conservative family but I never seemed to 'fit', although I sure gave it my best shot. I am a wonderful mother, a devoted daughter and a true friend. It's taken a great many years to 'become' those things and I sure stumbled along the way. Life is good, no great and I have no regrets, only hopes. I adore my two daughters and have made a full-time job of helping them navigate through a world that seems to have gone mad...leading by example. So far so good. Both are varsity athletes, well traveled, 4.0 students and above all they 'get it'. Oh so happy on my own but just stumbled upon this sight and it sounded interesting. Always good to make contacts with like-minded individuals. My 14 year old daughter and I just attended Live Earth in NY....
I gave up Corporate America on my 30th b'day, sold all earthly posessions & cashed everything in to travel solo around the world with a backpack and no plans.
My Philosophy
Live each moment. Cliche, but true!
What Gives Me Hope
My daughters, my family and the sunrise (sans chemtrails)
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Bannishing all self-serving politicians and corporate moguls.
What/who changed my life and why
The radio station that changed my life was KPFK. Who'd have thought that there actually WAS another side to the story?
