        The ETHANOL issue           
       brought me to the Care2 Network  
    and helped me become an activist  
    Ethanol causes the air we breathe and the water we drink to be less safe. Billions of our tax dollars subsidize it on multiple levels, from the environmentally unfriendly agribusiness of corn, until it reaches our vehicles as an inferior fuel under the guise of being a savior from foreign oil. 
  Federal Farm and Energy Policies are currently allowing a handful of very profitable agribusinesses/bio-refineries to collect billions of dollars in subsidies while poisoning our citizens and our planet.
