What Gives Me Hope My 2 granddaughters (10 and 12) are wonderful girls and give me hope for a better future.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Do everyting I could to promote equality between all citizens. Do something about poverty. Stop the wars.
What/who changed my life and why I read books since more than 50 years. I think every book had an influence on me. The last book (about caring for people) was "L'empire de la honte" by Jean Ziegler, UN rapporteur, about inequality in this world. Everyone should read this book. To preserve our planet to be destroyed by global warming and terrible disasters, I just bought "Earth : the sequel" by Fred Krupp-Pres. of "Environmental Defense Fund". It is about "The race to reinvent energy and stop global warming".
What Bugs Me people who steal and harm others, people who rape, People who can't be their self, Those who hurt others weaker than them, people who don't "listen", People claiming friendship that are not!, liars, intolerance, injustice, indifference, hypocrisy, hate, E

Dear friends of "Care 2",
I am very sorry that I was away from Care2 except to reactivate the e-mail I use. Health problems, gone for now, much time to care about my daughter and 2 granddaughters needing help because my son in law is very often away worldwide for his work . My daughter lives now at 100 km from me, in a more healthy place than where I live. Here we have a very bad environment : incinerators at 2 km, a factory which is known for polluting a large area with poison as heavy metals of the worst kind. And I live in the middle of it. I am 69 since July 2008, so moving to a more healthy place is a problem for many reasons. However it is a risk to stay here. My wife passed away in 1999 (cancer) and was always healthy before we came here. But I am back (for now !!) because you are such nice people. Thanks for your care and nice birthday wishes :-
