I want to thank everyone who gave me green stars on my first contribution to this site!

I have become very earth conscious in the past few years, especially having children who are growing up in an age where global warming is one of our biggest threats.

I have made the following changes in my life.


 - Use green cleaning products free of chemicals, bleaches and dyes.

 - I use (when I remember) cloth bags for shopping.

 - I've begun buying as many organic fruits and veggies as I can find.

 - I'm walking more instead of using the car.

 - I've changed all the light bulbs in the house to the energy savers.

 - I've turned down the heat a few degrees in the house.

 - Unplug plugs that are not in use.

 - Recycling more than I ever have.

 - Stopped buying water bottles. I filter my tap water using a water filter.

 - Planted more trees around the house.

I believe one person's efforts can go a long way!
