off beat, conversationally engaging free spirited happy-with-life misfit. a mama, a vocalist, a madrigal, bluegrass & hymn singer who loves The Lord, a san franciscan, a hippie nouveau dressed-tree huggin-granola munchin'- birkinstock wearin'- low maiintenance gal, an introvert & often absent minded, i purposely prounounce the G in "lasagna" ... i love daisies, cats & dogs, twighlight, snowglobes, patchouli, theology and foriegn languages. i have a low threshold for stupidity & disrespect. that's me --- how about YOU?
"This is what you should do:
Love the earth and sun and animals,
despise riches, give alms to everyone that asks,
stand up for the stupid and crazy,
devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants,
argue not concerning God,
have patience and indulgence toward the people...
reexamine all you have been told in school or church or in any book,
dismiss what insults your very soul,
and your flesh shall become a great poem."

What/who changed my life and why
THE BIBLE. there is so much peace and wisdom there. :-) I'D LOVE TO BE ONE OF THOSE BOOK READING PEOPLE, BUT SADLY, i'M FUNCUNTIONALLY ILLITERATE.
" You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
"Being a woman created by God is such a privilege- and the gift of your femininity is something you can give both to yourself and to the people around you. Just one flower, one candle, can warm up a cold, no-nonsense atmosphere with an aura of ‘I care.' Women have always had the ability to transform an environment, to make it comfortable and inviting. I believe you should rejoice in that ability and make the most of it... The spirit of femininity is so many things... It is people accepted and nurtured, loveliness embraced and shared. More important, the spirit of femininity is the spirit of care and compassion. In my mind, the most feminine woman is one with an eye and ear for others, and a heart for God."
