What/who changed my life and why	The birth of my son changed my life profoundly. All of a sudden, I wasn't indestructible anymore. I can't take risks the way I used to, now that he depends on me for everything. I also don't have the time to participate in all those risky activities, either, and I never find myself missing them. My new activities may be safer, but they are not any more sedate; in fact, the kid is a powerhouse and wears me out. It's pretty satisfying.
