Animal lover, Nature girl, shy and fun loving. I can be very stubborn, I don't like being told what to do or who to be. I'm not married and don't have any kids. Not of the two legged kind, and although I have no interest in raising a human family, I'm very close to my little sister and our gram. They're my best friends and I love them to death. I don't like talking about myself a lot, and I have a hard time filling out these boxes because, really, I don't fit in a box of any kind. But my family seems to like me a lot and even though I'm grumpy in the morning, impatient to go on my way, bullheaded even when I'm wrong, I've been told what a love I am, very giving and funny. I love to make people laugh and give hugs, share my passions with those who are important to me. I feel most connected with animals and nature, and a few people who have touched my heart along the way.
I'm shy and not very outspoken under normal circumstances. But I have a strong warrior spirit and when I truly need her, she doesn't let me down. I have very strong passions and a protective nature, especially for my family and animals, our earth. I harbor a lot of emotion and sometimes have trouble processing it through. Sometimes my own spirit is a force to be reckoned with, even for me.
My Philosophy
I have a belief in many things, spiritual, metaphysical, Native American, reincarnation and the list goes on. I believe in what feels right for me. We're all a part of the earth, every living being is connected. We're made of the same stuff, and there's no such thing as a dumb animal or a worthless person. There's no such thing as "trivial." Everything matters, everyone makes an imprint on this world whether it's in a big way or a small act. Our words, our thoughts, our beliefs affects all of us. I have some hang ups about organized religion, but I try to remain open minded and I believe all of our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, dreams and philosophies are valid. They're valid because of the ones who experience them and believe in them. There is no wrong or right way, it's much more personal than that. I'm just me, a free spirit and I'm still finding my way, reconnecting with a spiritual gift.
What Gives Me Hope
Other people who still keep going no matter how bad it gets. And knowing that I'm the only one who can control my life and my destiny.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Listen to those whose voices have fallen on deaf ears.
What/who changed my life and why
My Grandma, who raised me and allowed me to grow into my own person. Even though it also meant letting me bring home every stray cat or dog or wounded bird that crossed my path! She has much wisdom and has taught me to enjoy the beauty in our world, respect Mother Nature and take a moment to watch the sunset. And give thanks.
