1 Corinthian 13:13 And the greatest of these is love.....

Annie S. (3) 		"The Sea Shepherd" desperately needs support, please help her by helping to fund fuel for expeditions to the Antarctic. Any other ships donated or otherwise would be welcome!

I pray you hear what I am saying, "The Sea Shepherd is making the last stand for the existence of the whales all by herself.

The current moment is imperative as some of these whale species stand at their last bastion of existence.

Imagine if the Wright, the Blue and the Humpack species are only in their six to 700's and the Japanese are non-discriminately harvesting a minimum of 50 of these whales per year and those figures were discovered in the the mid 90's and they've been whaling ever since???

Annie S. (3) 		Greenpeace in it's infinite wisdom have redirected it's funding to educating the youth in Japan to the practice and facts of the Japanese whalers. This is important but how effective will it be when there are no whales left to save???

"The Sea Shepherd" is desperately in need of funding for fuel so she can put herself in between the Japanese and the whales, chasing the Japanese whalers to prevent them from whaling.

"The Sea Shepherd"

In the mid 1990's I was a transcription typist on "The Last Whales" funded by Greenpeace and produced by David Bradbury and Youngheart Productions.

I listened to the testimonies of Russian diplomats from the UN as they described the figures that were released after their previous government had fallen. The larger whales populations were now estimated to be in their 6 to 700's, and not in their thousand as had been estimated. This was shock not only for the scientific communty, but also for the world as we realized that the whales were much closer to extinction that previously thought.
