I just want to give thanks to EVERY person that has signed my petitions regarding animals in the circus and the Canadian commercial seal hunt. It's been all-important to witness SO many people, united and improving the conditions of the world. Assembling in order to relieve lives and broadcast awareness of these issues, that have long since been dismissed from the mind and neglected. I am truly grateful for the outpour of reinforcement from every one–with ever comment I feel we’ve made many steps toward the future, toward restoring these injustices and really MAKING A DIFFERENCE !!!
I reassure everyone that I am taking absolute steps onward and contacting many charities, agencies, newspapers, and television stations in order to spread the word of these causes.
THANK YOU ALL !!!

“I believe that the very purpose of life is to be happy. From the very core of our being, we desire contentment. In my own limited experience I have found that the more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being. Cultivating a close, warmhearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It helps remove whatever fears or insecurities we may have and gives us the strength to cope with any obstacles we encounter. It is the principal source of success in life. Since we are not solely material creatures, it is a mistake to place all our hopes for happiness on external development alone. The key is to develop inner peace.”
The only reason we don't open our hearts and minds to other people is that they trigger confusion in us that we don't feel brave enough or sane enough to deal with. To the degree that we look clearly and compassionately at ourselves, we feel confident and fearless about looking into someone else's eyes.
... Do not pursue the past. Do not lose yourself in the future. The past no longer is. The future has not yet come. Looking deeply at life as it is. In the very here and now, the practitioner dwells in ability and freedom. We must be diligent today. To wait until tomorrow is too late.
Death comes unexpectedly. How can we bargain with it? The sage calls a person who knows how to dwell in mindfulness night and day, 'one who knows the better way to live alone.'

A man should never be ashamed to own that he is wrong, which is but saying in other words that he is wiser today than he was yesterday. No one ever choked to death swallowing his pride.
