Those are the 4, only four people, Adidas CEO Herbert Heiner, Glenn Bennett, Robin J. Stalker and Erich Stamminger, that are responsible for 70% of the cruelest wildlife massacre in the world!!!
Take a protected species under the protection of the Department of the Environment, call it a resource, increase the killing, and you have the largest wildlife slaughter in the world today.
Government sanctioned crueltyThe Code of Practice says joeys can be ripped from their slain mother's pouch and hit on the head with a water pipe or iron bar until dead; shooters even bash joeys against their vehicle or a tree trunk. Older, ex-pouch, but still dependent joeys flee in terror when their mothers are killed to die from cold, starvation, predation and maternal depravation. A million or more joeys die in this way every year.
No Shooter will ever allow himself to be filmed killing joeys.
The Code of Practice is not linked to the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and is legally unenforcable.
Contrary to public perception, the RSPCA does NOT monitor or police cruelty to commercially killed kangaroos. The nature and method of slaughter cannot be ignored. It is barbaric and inhumane. Each night thousands of animals are butchered, many are maimed, the young in pouch are cruelly dispatched and the young at foot are left to fend for themselves. Any reasonable person would not wish to be a party to this slaughter by purchasing kangaroo products. Former Senator George Georges (Queensland) heard evidence about kangaroo killing for three and a half years as Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Animal Welfare from December 9th, 1983 to June 5th, 1987. (Preface of "The Kangaroo BETRAYED!).
"The cruelty and suffering that we have already seen in the native animal industries means that this is no longer an experiment. Hundreds of thousands of kangaroos each year are not killed humanely, emu chicks in Western Australia are "de-toed" without anaesthesia to reduce risks to handlers, and possums in Tasmania are trapped, transported and killed over a period that now has blown out to anything up to 48 hours. The trade in wildlife is a trade based on profit, without any place for compassion." (Foreword of 'The Kangaroo BETRAYED!' Professor Peter Singer)
Kangaroos are shot in the Australian outback by spotlighting at night. One million joeys die alone. Three aspects cause great cruelty:
Because head shots are attempted, these may not strike the brain but injure the head including the mouth. These kangaroos escape into the scrub outside the spotlight's beam and will die over several days from their horrific injuries and starvation.
In-pouch joeys are killed by stomping on them or bashing them with a stick or against a vehicle. Several blows may be necessary.
Ex-pouch joeys are still reliant on their mother's milk for protein, warmth in the cold winter's nights, protection from predators, and they are dependent on their mothers for psychic support. They spend time in and out of the pouch and when their mothers are killed, they are left to fend for themselves.

Dear Mr Heiner, on account of all those signatures and the cruelty to Kangaroos, will you now stop buying Kangaroo leather? We hope you have the heart to see how wrong it is to use Kangaroos for your shoes. This petition is going all around the world. If I was you, I would be thinking real hard if it is worth the trouble and the money you are making, please see all there is about the cruel killing of our Kangaroos. I do hope you have a concience and a heart for those victims of your profit search.
Sincerely
Bea Brinkley
PS This petition is only the start, watch your profit margin going down!
easy going, honest, happy, home body, deep love and feelings for animals, lots of animal friends, wild ones and pets, love to meet other animal lovers, but not animal keepers! There is a difference!
Think people that love animals are nicer people. I think Vegans are better lovers! and more sensious then meat eaters.
My Philosophy
Vegetarianism/Veganism is the key to our environmental and animal cruelty problem!
What Gives Me Hope
More and more people realize that less meat and more vegetarian meals are better for their health. No matter what the ads say!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
I would boycott the Olympics
STAND UP FOR THE WHALES/DOLPHINS
stop imports from China and Japan
Prohibit factorization of farm animals, start teaching and advertising Vegetarian/Vegan cooking
What/who changed my life and why
Animal and environmental societies like wspa,Captain Watson, animals Australia, Animals Asia, Peta, Animal Liberation, Shark, Care2, Voiceless, and others. But not the RSPCA? why not? When will they actually start to look after farm animals? instead of hiding behind the code of practice.

Dear Bea,
Thank you for being a wonderful animal advocate, friend and fighter for all the animals of this world, especially the beautiful kangaroo. xxx
Oh dear, my profile looks so neglected. Sorry to everyone that left those lovely comments, but I have been unfaithful to Care 2, been in Face book, LOL. I did not think anybody would miss me, so I have not looked into my profile for quiet some time. You can always come and visit me in Face book, hahaha. Thanks so much for kind words. Keep fighting for animals, love you all. Bea
Hello to all my friends, sorry I have been neglecting you. Have been on FB since August, I had to delete all messages, as I can't deal with 6553.
