A human angel found me "dumped in the middle of nowhere...a tiny bag of skin and bones in a vineyard, living off grapes. My left eye was just a pocket of puss. This loving rescuer took me to the ASPCA but they would offer no guarantee of not euthanizing me," so the man took me to his vet for treatment. Unfortunately, my eye had to be removed. The man had me neutered and vaccinated. Sadly, the man was not able to keep me, as he had so wished he could, and surrendered me to a no-kill-shelter.
Due to that man's kindness and a heart as big as the heavens in the night sky, the human in my now-forever home was given the opportunity to meet and fall in love with me.
What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. --Chief Seattle
