Fred Smilek has shown great interest in protecting the many animals facing the extinction. Two years ago Fred Smilek decided that he would no longer sit back and wait to make a difference. With much desire and passion he created an organization which he aptly named the Society to Save Endangered species.
Fred Smilek’s greatest influence is Jane Goodall. A world renowned conservationist whose lifelong work has centered around the chimpanzee. What drew Fred Smilek closer to the great conservationist was a chance meeting at a conference taking place at the University of California Berkley Campus.
