This "dueling church signs" scenario didn't really happen, but its still pretty funny.

"If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." - Will Rogers

"If I have any beliefs about morality, it is that certain dogs I have known will go to heaven, and very, very few persons." - James Thurber

"All in the town were still asleep,
when the sun came up with a shout and leap.
In the lonely streets unseen by man,
a little dog danced.  And the day began."

About Me I am a single, head-of-household caring for an Alzheimer's mother (currently in the memory care unit of an assisted living facility), 2 big dogs, and a cat (the cat came with mom). I am passionate about helping the homeless, but am more comfortable with animals, so spend more time at the animal shelters than shelters for people. My dog, Beau, and I am volunteers for a local hospice. I had to pass a background check, a drug test, provide 2 references, pass a TB test, and take 6 hours of orientation. All he had to do was show up.
