What Gives Me Hope The assurance that Jesus loves us, has forgiven our sins and will give us eternal life in Heaven—just as He promised; The increase of green and ethical businesses; The HPV vaccine; That things could always be worse; People realizing the limits of Democracy: The rising popularity of green goods & compassionate & eco-friendly cultural values;Being vegetarian & seeing more people become vegetarian, along with the accessiblity of veggie products and the slowly growing consciousness around it; The Internet and new technology; ok, that's enough for now ;-)

What/who changed my life and why Books: "God At Work" by Gene Veith ... because it helped to put things into proper perspective/boundaries as to the roles I play in life. "Lost in the Mirror" let me understand my personality a bit better, as did Oliver Sach's "Migraine."
