Hi everyone, Let me tell you a little about who I am. I am a Mother of 2 and a stepmom of 4 (ages 14 to 24). We live on 25 acres of beautiful country land. On top of having our kids, my parents live with us so I can take care of my father who is very ill. I have a wonderful husband! We just went through cancer treatment for him. Had the surgery and had all the Chemo treatments and now we go on with our lives. Did I mention we have 6 dogs?? And, Im not sure how many cats in our barns, I just keep feeding them all. I also owned several business's, but when my husband was diagnosed with cancer I decided it was more important for me to stay home and take care of him! And now have decided I like being home, so Im staying home and not returning to work.
So we have thought about all that we have and instead of taking everything for granted we want to share with others. I found this web-site while searching the internet trying to find a family we can help have a happy holiday. Our family has decided to give rather than get from now on. All we are doing for Christmas at our house is having a dinner withh our entire family, sharing time.
I saw a movie a while ago "Pay it Forward" (if you have never seen it please rent it and watch it) It has got to be the most powerful movie I have seen in my entire life. My dream is that ALL people would do this. It doesnt always have to do with money, it could be as simple as seeing a person with a frown

as you passby them and flash a smile

to them more times then not that frowning person will smile back!
