About Me My career work has been more along lines of advocacy. Since the invasion into Iraq and our 2 loved ones were deployed to Iraq at the beginning invasion, and upon learning of the devastation of depleted uranium exposure, I have devoted my daily energies to full time activism to end war in Iraq and bring the troops home. Doing the volunteer work of activism is a continued learning challenge for me. I am an active member of national Military Families Speak Out and provide oversight to Washington state chapter, Military Families Speak Out.

The learning curve for me has included public speaking forums regionally and nationally; learning to interact with media; networking with other peace and activist organizations locally and nationally; and political activism.
