I am a Survivor of Domestic Violence, whose was life was stolen by acts of physical and emotional cruelty perpetrated by the father of my child. I have rebuilt my life, after rehabilitation and five years of intense hard work. I am no longer anyone's victim and I am fighting to get the truth on record; to bring my oldest daughter, Alyssa, home where she belongs! I share my story with others in the hopes of inspiring change in the legal system in how survivors of spousal abuse are treated, and especially with regard to child custody.
