I am returning to school to get a degree in wildlife biology, with a focus on the study of wolves. I always knew I wanted to work with animals, but when I married my handsome Norwegian and lived in Norway with him for 2 years I found my purpose in life. I saw how ignorance was destroying the wolf population; taken down at one point to a single mating pair in the entire country. Then people spoke out & I had the opportunity to work with the brave wildlife biologists and activists in Norway to help educate the public about how vital wolves are - not only to the environment, but to their culture. As this knowledge spread, people spoke out, and the government was forced to take action. It is my inspiration, and I take from this experience the wisdom that knowledge truly does set us free. STAND - ACT - EDUCATE!
I moved to Norway with my husband and found myself becoming an activist! Sign our petition please to save the wolves of Norway and around the world!
My Philosophy
My strengths come from a belief in personal honour, personal freedom, and devotion that expresses itselt through an intense desire to always continue learning, and pass on that knowledge to others. The world is heading towards a disasterous trend of cultural cloning, and wildlife neglect. Wisdom is lacking in leadership of the world's nations, and the people who care have a responsibility to make their voices heard through the vacuum of corporate and political smoke screens. There is a balance in the universe that allows us to exist. It is we who have the honour and the power to maintain it or right it when it is tilted. STAND - ACT - EDUCATE!
What Gives Me Hope
Finding so many others who care, and seeing that standing up for what you believe in really does work!
