If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Legalize marijuana - & gay marriage! Establish equal rights for all species. Protect nature and try to stop the spread of human overpopulation. And yes, there WOULD still be the death penalty, but for only ONE SINGLE offense: Shark Finning! This is the worst thing that is happening in this world and those committing this unspeakable crime shouldn't be alive. In all other cases I'm against the death penalty.
