Wild Fact About Me I did not know until recently that "plastic" cups could be made from corn! Sorry, I know that may sound lame to some, but I'm quite new to this...
My Philosophy I believe that every little bit helps when it comes to protecting our planet for future generations. Even recycling a single plastic bottle helps, so go ahead!
What Gives Me Hope There is not a "what", but rather, a "who" giving me hope these days: My daughter, who has turned me into a borderline semi-vegetarian. She began changing her eating habits in an effort to thwart those industries responsible for slaughtering the animals whose flesh many of us eat. She made this decision after watching a film during which animals were slaughtered in an inhumane manner. Since she made this decision in her life, we have expanded from changing our eating habits to changing how we do many things around the house, including recycling, and using eco-friendly cleaning products. I can honestly say that my daughter is my greatest achievement and contribution, and she is my one true hope for the future of our planet.
