I'm trying to save the world, in my own small way. My eyes are actually hazel, though they don't offer that choice here. I am a conservative liberal, depending upon the issue, a non-traditional eccentric, loyal but time-challenged, and very bright. I'm an artist and writer, so the eccentric part comes naturally. ;-) I am in a committed relationship with a man who accepts all this about me and more.

What/who changed my life and why
The HBO series Six Feet Under; because it came along at the perfect time, when I was in deep grief, and the episodes seemed to mirror much of what I was experiencing in my own life.
More recently, Steven Wilson, of Porcupine Tree/ No-Man/ Blackfield/ Bass Communion/ I.E.M./ solo recordings and intermittent projects with others; because he and his incredibly diverse and outstanding body of work have inspired me to begin writing and recording my own music again for the first time in well over twenty years. Since first being introduced to his bands and projects in 2006, I have gone somewhat insane for his work, and have formed a charitable foundation in part to collect and conserve his music, the music of other musicians who have inspired me, as well as a growing collection of musical instruments. We are currently in the process of upgrading our recording studio to be able to better handle the recording, mixing and mastering we have already begun, and plan to continue well into the future.
