Seeing plants grow where they "shouldn't": in walls, on the pavement in-between the tiles, even through the asphalt. This tells us nature can't be stopped.

What/who changed my life and why
There have been many; I take a bit out of every book I read...
My beloved Boxer Cody changed my life 8.5 years ago. I learned so much from and through him, I've met some wonderful people through him, I discovered lots of things that added to my learning. I used to be a cat-person, but because of him I became a dog and cat person (more a dog person than a cat person)!
There is no hope... The cancercells appear to be T-cells. Chemo could prolongue his life, but will not cure him. I am not going to put him through treatments that will not cure him... He will be kept on prednisone for as long as possible and I will spoil him rotten with play, walks and goodies, until he will let me know that it is his time to go... I hope I will have the wisdom to "read" his signals and the courage to let him go. It is so sad. He is my soulmate. I will try to enjoy my remaining time with him. He is the best dog there ever was... for me, at least.
I feel a bit better now, as there is still hope. I took Cody to a clinic in Gouda, where they will probably be able to treat his cancer with chemotherapy! My Boxer's quality of life will be better than mine, but I don't care! I hope he will be able to recover.
I am heartbroken as my Boxer, my buddy and soulmate, has been diagnosed with cancer at age 8 yrs 9 months. I am looking into what can still be done. The vet said chemo would be a possibility.... Hoping and praying with tears in my eyes...
