I'm Jackie. My picture is of me and Smokey enjoying nice fall weather. I have friends of all ages and races, but not enough **HINT**. I've been fighting a chronic illness for over four years and have had a lot of changes in my life.
When I was 4 years old I moved from Denver, CO to Tampa, FL. Shortly after moving to Tampa, I became a vegetarian. 6 and a half years later, I moved to Tallahasee, FL (yes, that IS the capital of Florida, if it sounds vaguely familiar). In Tally I took care of a feral cat colony that lived next to my apartment complex. I created an animal rescue club and envolved my whole class, which inspired my teacher to adopt a class cat that had special needs. After about two years, I moved to where I currently live -- Roswell, GA. Four weeks after moving here, I got sick with mononucleosis. Well, time went by and I never got over it. I had every blood test imaginable and went to many different doctors and even a psychiatrist. After 6 months of ruling every possibility out, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Fibromyalgia Syndrome. Never heard of it, eh? Then please visit my website about it: http://forpeoplewithcfs.tripod.com
I live with both of my parents; my favorite stuffed animal (don't think that I just have one!), Pammydog; and my two cats, Smokey and Peaches. I'm very close to animals. I wish I had more cats, but I'm highly allergic to fur. Smokey and Peaches are two of my very best friends. They've been with me for as long as I can remember. I spend a lot of my free time playing with them and watching/feeding my woodland creatures.
