My passion? My children first and foremost! I came from a long line of alcoholics and was married to 2, so I chose to never let my children live a life that way. I have been a devoted mom since the day I found out I was pregnant with Brandon and here it is 25 1/2 yrs later and I have a BUNCH! I love nothing better than getting all of them together and cooking a big family dinner with everyone joking, laughing,talking,and debating issues! We are a very close family and do most everything together! My oldest son Brandon is in college still and lives with my mom, my son Tyler and his wife are in the middle of a divorce so that's been difficult, But we are helping him get thru it!  We love to go to concerts,watch movies together,play card and board games and we do our own form of karaoke which is great! It took a lot of years to have a family this happy..and it is the best!
I was diagnosed with a brain disease last year that devastated our family,and it took us all awhile to come to grips with it..but now we are doing well and the doctors are doing a good job so far so it hasn't been too bad. I'm still scared sometimes and I know the kids are..but my God and my family are my strength and I know I'll see this thru if I keep up the faith!
I love to cook! My family loves it when I cook a big dinner and we really do eat together about 4 or more nights a week! It's great!!! Abbie is simply my sunshine! She is such a Nana's girl now too! I had boys,and I raised one of my cousins little girl for 12 years and helped my sister with her two girls who are now 21 and 17 so Having a granddaughter wasn't hard..and loving her is a wonderful experience! She is such a happy baby! She is also a good baby like her daddy was so she is easy to take care of! I love that I get to spend everyday with her for hours on end! I just pray that I live long enough that she remembers me and treasures our time together like I did with my grandma. She was my best friend and my second mom most of my life and I still miss her terribly.
I am a huge fan of Joyce Meyers and I just bought the book "The Penny" today and I am hopefully going to start on it tonight(I don't fall asleep real well at night) so I will let you know how the book is! I've heard rave reviews on it and I'll bet it's great! I love all kinds of music(thanks to the kids!) but country is my favorite! My video of Martina McBride's new song "Anyway" is my favorite song in the world! The words just grab you and they are sooo true! Well I'm going to stop for now and I'll write more later!
