"Governments should fear their people, people shouldn't fear their governments"
Well, another summer has come and gone, but honestly, I was eagerly anticipating the autumn season. The crisp air, the scent of cottonwood leaves when they begin to fall. I love feeling warm and cozy in my warm weather clothes, and the smell of tea steeping in my crisp and cool kitchen.
However, for some people this time of year is a time of panic and fear. Not only do impoverished people in temperate climates have to worry about how they will stay warm and dry, but because the cost of heating is now prohibitive people are having to decide between heating and eating. When children are a part of this equation it is heart-rending.
Please be sensitive to those around you who are suffering, who need help and may, for reasons unknown to you, have no other option but to rely upon the kindness to others. There is no other reason to be here other than to be helpful to those who need us. Friends, loved ones or strangers: we are all in this together. When you are in need, may you find ready help, when others are in need, may you be that ready help.
Your strength, your resolve, your positive thoughts, your meditations, your activism, your concern for your fellow humankind is what will change lives and change the future. Its a symbiotic relationship we're having here, we all need each other whether we think so or not. Its time to throw away the useless thoughts, clean out the dark corners of our minds and be truly human.
Whatever you hate, love its opposite. The opposite of hate, the opposite of greed, and the opposite of rage.
Pass it on.
I Love You,
Celeste

My Philosophy
Treat people well, We're all going through something. I don't want to be the reason for someone else's bad day. If we look after each other, we are fulfilling the basic tenets of most religions.
