My Philosophy If you have a passion to change the world, you must begin in your own home. BE the changes that you want to see.
What Gives Me Hope People who sincerely CARE about other people and the world we live in.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Take steps to ERASE HATE. I would make every effort to put an end to all types of discrimination, prejudices, bigotry, and the subtle (and sometimes NOT so subtle) hatred that is behind it all. This goes far beyond gay rights. Many many others are hated and discriminated against every single day, including those who are overweight, those of varied nationality and religion, the poor, the down-trodden and homeless, etc. There needs to be more focus on how we are all ALIKE than on our differences. If there was more love and understanding in the world, there would be less crime, less war, less poverty.
What/who changed my life and why There are numerous people that have inadvertently changed my life....Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Maya Angelou, my grandfather, my mother, my partner, my son, Senator Hillary Clinton, the many wonderful friends I have had throughout my life, and my sixth grade English teacher who encouraged me to write.
What Bugs Me people who HATE in the name of Christ, self-righteousness, arrogance, apathy, cruelty to animals, hypocrisy, injustice and intolerance  
Passions taking action to make a difference, LEARNING, my family, friends, pets  
Inspirations the purring of my kittens, when my soul is quieted, autumn and spring, a gentle breeze, the fragrance of a rainstorm, the sounds of the ocean, peacemakers, my children, My Partner / Best friend, my mother
