I'm an Egyptian at heart (and often in action), though American by birth. I believe in karma, understanding and spontaneity. I think that everyone is worth meeting. I can't stand shallow or close-minded people, but I'm polite to them. I graduated from Cairo American College, and now attend the University of Washington in good old Seattle. It's pretty awesome.
I never really grew up. I watch cartoons, play video games, and get really excited about little things.
My Philosophy
Everyone who has thought about their beliefs and ideologies believes them for a good reason. Understanding our differences and compromising on political theory is how we can unite our country, and the world.

Improve education systems in general. In the US, I would also make sure it included Arabic as a foreign language and made the teaching of world cultures a necessity.
What/who changed my life and why
There are more than one specific event that changed my life. People and experiences change my life on a daily basis.
“For a long time I’ve been operating from a certain core assumption that we are all essentially the same inside, and that our differences are by and large situational. That goes for everybody— Bush, Bin Laden, Tony Blair, me, you… Palestinians, everybody of any particular religion. I know there is a good chance that this assumption actually is false. But it’s convenient, because it always leads to questions about the way privilege shelters people from the consequences of their actions. It’s also convenient because it leads to some level of forgiveness, whether justified or not.”-- Rachel Corrie
