I am not one to suffer fools gladly. If you wish to know me better, you should scroll down. If not, I suggest you close your browser window now.
While I have no problems meeting men in bars, nightclubs, cafes, airports, shopping centers, concert halls, etc., I have chosen this additional venue to possibly meet the man that best suits me. I am known to be: Adventurous. Intelligent. Eloquent. Witty. Spontaneous. Courageous. Vivacious. Gregarious, yet shy. Altruistic. Hedonistic, yet spiritual. Ambitious, yet casual. Active. Cerebral. Sensual. Passionate. Classy. Soft. Sensitive. Animated. Opinionated. Loyal. Most of all, vocal.
While extremely generous and compassionate, I can be quite headstrong. Fortunately, I have developed a taste for humble pie. Though I subscribe to no organized religion, I do believe that what you give is what you get, sometimes tenfold. To this, I can attest.
As an Anglophile, with a formidable appreciation of music, my favorite artist is Paul Weller (of The Jam/The Style Council fame). However, my musical interests cover a fairly broad range from performance to appreciation of britpop, experimental, indierock, garage, folk, classical, country, acid jazz, triphop, lounge, balearic, electro, postpunk, breakbeat and all other subgenres that lie in between.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, singing, dancing, cooking, entertaining, traveling, viewing fine cinema/documentaries , and discussing ecosociopolitical issues. Overall, I am an emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually strong person open to unbridled challenge and eager to learn and grow from each experience.
Creative, enlightening and inspiring new friends/lovers are always welcome. Should a mutual attraction exist and evolve into something more, then I'm open to that possibility as well.
"Now I understood for the first time that all these problems are caused by a race asleep and thrashing about in its panicked nightmares. There will be wars and holocausts and genocides as long as God is portrayed and thought of as a tight-minded legislator, a feudal lord, an offended King, a hypersensitive Artisan – even if church managers condescendingly tack onto that ridiculous list the not-very-convincing footnote that He is also loving. As long as people dream that they are insecure and needy in some sort of eternal jeopardy, there will be atrocities. But as the human race grows up spiritually, and as individuals gain a personal experience of the God they have been worshipping in fear, they will recognize that much of their theology and philosophy is built on nightmares. That will be the day of peace. I suddenly found myself unwilling to sit it out in the mountains of Utah. I wanted to play an active role in the process of the world’s awakening." – George Fowler, "Dance of a Fallen Monk"
