I AM A SOCIALIST (gasp!!!) I lived 20 yrs in a socialist country - Canada - & know from experience that it is a superior system to the States. My standard of living has plummetted since moving here, not because of my own personal circumstances but due to the nature of life as it is in this country. I no longer have access to excellent & immeadiate health care. Banking is archaic, goods are inferior in quality, the media emphasizes everything from sensationalism to downright lies, & people here are generally more unhappy & unhealthy than I've seen anywhere else outside of the 3rd world.
