I am interested in politics because that is how change comes about in our society.  My dream job would be to work as a lobbyist for a special interest group or work as a liason to a Senator or Congressman.  I feel that is where a person can make the greatest change by lobbying for AARP, ADA , Equal rights for gay and lesbian couples and equal protection/rights for women.  This election is challenging the pink ceiling and the race issue.  We need a democrat in office no Republican at all.

What Gives Me Hope
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by If I were President the first thing I would do is start bringing our troops home. Then, I beleive everybody in our country needs to have a turn at being president. In addition, if the president is failing on his/her job they need to hand in their resignation or the public needs to demand that resignation otherwise we will fire him or her before they get this country in such a horrible state like Bush did for 8 years.
What/who changed my life and why My first instructor in college who taught me Sociology. She opened my eyes to the world. She told me I could be anything I want to be. That was the first time in my life I heard that at the age of 45. Nobody ever told me that as a child.
