Much happiness right now over Election Day results! I really never thought I'd see Indiana colored blue on the map . . . it's a really good feeling. I'm feeling more hopeful about the future than I have in a long time.

Polygraph by Lying Delilah - Lying Delilah might just be the coolest band I've discovered this year. They are an amazing new trio from the Northwest Indiana/Chicago area, and CDBaby.com describes them as "a soulful, sultry sound that blends jazzy blues with straight-up rock . . . an unbelievable rhythm section mixed with unique vocals."

The band gives an incredible live performance, but the CD is equally phenomenal. I would love to see this group succeed in gaining a huge national audience, so please give them a listen!

About Me	I think people probably have a difficult time getting to know me, because I tend to have varied interests that make me a bit hard to pin down. I can say that I'm definitely very balanced between the right and left sides of my brain. I believe that we should welcome both emotion and rationality as part of being fully human and should strive for lives where both are in balance.

My Philosophy	I try to live my life with an understanding that I'm not perfect and there's always room for me to grow. I welcome the opportunity to learn from those around me; as painful as it can be, I'd rather have someone confront me with my weaknesses, so that I can become a better person.
