The Beauty of Woman Author: Unknown
The beauty of a woman Is not in the clothes she wears, The figure that she carries, Or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, Because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, But true beauty in a woman Is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows
And the beauty of a woman With passing years-only grows!
Are You Blessed? Author: Unknown
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness..........you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation.......you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace....... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still alive and still married........you are very rare, even in the United States.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful.....you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.
If you prayed yesterday and today........you are in the minority because you believe God does hear and answer prayers.
If you can read now, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
Love is Fire That Burns Without Being Seen
By Luis De Camoes
Love is Fire that Burns Without Being Seen
It’s a Wound that Aches Yet Isn’t Felt
It’s an Happy Unhappy
It’s Pain That Renders Crazy Without Aching
It’s More I Don’t Wanting Then Wanting
It’s Lonely Walking Among People
It’s Never Having Enough of Being Happy
It’s Realizing that You Win When You Lose
It’s Being Held Chained by Your Own Free Will
It’s the Winner Serving the Loser
It’s Having Loyalty to Whom Killed You
But How Can it’s Gift Cause Friendship in the Human Hearts
If so Opposing to Itself is Love?
Life is about...
Life is not about keeping score.Life is not about how many people call you, not about who you’ve dated, are dating, or never dated.Life is not about whose kissed you, or which person likes you or not.Life’s not about what sports you play, or if your even good at them or not.As a matter of fact, life’s not about grades, money or clothes, not about whether you have friends or if you’re alone.Life’s also not about you does or doesn’t accept you. That’s just not what life is about.Life is about who you love and who you hurt. Life is about how you feel about yourself. It’s knowing you’re beautiful, know matter what anyone says. Life is about happiness, compassion, and trust, and sticking up for what’s right. Life’s about replacing hatred with love, and avoiding jealousy, building confidence, and overcoming ignorance. It’s about what you say and what you mean. Life’s about seeing people for who they are, not what they haveMost of all, Life’s about choosing to use your life and experiences to touch someone else in a way that could not be achieved otherwise. That is what life is about.
Sung by the composer, Milton Nascimento
I have crossed a thousand bridges in my search for something real There were great suspension bridges made like spiderwebs of steel There were tiny wooden trestles and there were bridges made of stone I have always been a stranger and I've always been alone There's a bridge to tomorrow there's a bridge from the past There's a bridge made of sorrow that I pray will not last There's a bridge made of colors in the sky high above and I think that there must be bridges made out of love I can see her in the distance on the river's other shore and her hands reach out in longing as my own have done before And I call across to tell her where I believe the bridge must lie and I'll find it yes, I'll find it if I search until I die When the bridge is between us we'll have nothing to fear We will run through the sunlight and I'll meet her halfway There's a bridge made of colors in the sky high above and I'm certain that somewhere there's a bridge made of love)
"Life is too short and friends are too few."
One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father
The son answered:
"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing?
Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.
Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!
