What Gives Me Hope Seeing a smile on someone's face.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by I would really push to eat less meat. A cultural revolution must take place in America right now to decrease our massive consumption. The most sensical place, at least in my mind to start, is to stop eating so much damn meat. Not only does meat create huge amounts of bio gas but it takes so much transport, land, etc and it's not wildly good for you. If everyone could stick to 3-4 oz of meat a day, less animal welfare issues would spring up and more local farms could be able to feed more people. Meat is where to start. Once people accept that, maybe less of everything can start.
What/who changed my life and why B is for Brontosaurus by Stephen J Gould changed my life. I realized I wanted to be a scientist when I read his essays.
