Oh dear, so this is where I tell all about me, huh? OK, don't hold your breath, I'm not THAT interesting LOL . So, what about me? Well, my basic description is up above here, my pic, A/S/L, etc. . Activities and interests are the same to me. . I am an ex-pat Brit, originally from North Yorkshire in the North-East of England but I now live in Massachusetts, USA. I came over here after my divorce from my first wife, and am now married to my second wife who is the American in the family. . I have 4 kids of my own still living in the UK with their mother, and two step-sons here. . Good grief, I never know what to write in these pages LOL . I served in the Royal Navy for a little over 8 years, then I was a cop for a couple of years. I have been a security officer, private investigator, digital cartographer, car mechanic (old cars - pre-catalytic converters and engine management systems) ... and more LOL . I belonged to a Living History Society in the UK, depicting life during the late 15th century upheaval commonly referred to as The Wars of the Roses. I became rather adept with a sword and buckler, and a billhook, and was not TOO shabby with a traditional English longbow. I also made my own mail armour (it's not called chain mail, you know - the Victorians coined that phrase. It's called mail from the French Maillot, meaning fish scales, as the links in mail armour appear similar the scales of a fish) Hey, you get a history lesson here, too :-) . OK, enough is enough, I guess. Told you I'm not THAT interesting LOL
