Wild Fact About Me My fingers look like a tree frog's.
My Philosophy Once a man was walking along a beach. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. Off in the distance he could see a person going back and forth between the surf's edge and and the beach. Back and forth this person went. As the man approached he could see that there were hundreds of starfish stranded on the sand as the result of the natural action of the tide.
The man was stuck by the the apparent futility of the task. There were far too many starfish. Many of them were sure to perish. As he approached the person continued the task of picking up starfish one by one and throwing them into the surf.

As he came up to the person he said, "You must be crazy. There are thousands of miles of beach covered with starfish. You can't possibly make a difference." The person looked at the man. He then stooped down and pick up one more starfish and threw it back into the ocean. He turned back to the man and said, "It sure made a difference to that one!"
What Gives Me Hope Appreciating the cycles of nature.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Fire every politician and replace each one with someone of their same sex, race and age, but who has never made more than $35,000 in one year.
What/who changed my life and why I saw a TV show when I was very young. A little girl dressed in rags had no friends and was abused at home. The only thing she had in the world was a pet crow.
One day, some kids came up and stood around the crow and started to stone it. As they were stoning it to death, the little girl also began to throw rocks at her beloved crow, tears running down her face as she did so. When it was over, she walked away with the new kids who now accepted her, looking back at her dead friend on the pavement.
This so affected me that, for the rest of my life, I have never bowed to peer pressure, never shunned a person or compromised an ideal just to “fit in”. I may not have a lot of friends, but I sleep well.
