 Dear Friends...The giraffe population has nearly halved since 1988 — falling from more than 140,000 to fewer than 80,000.

They are now thought to be extinct in places such as Angola, Mali and Nigeria. But in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe it is still legal to hunt them

We must help these beautiful ones survive!

Hello!   I so wish I could help every animal on the face of this Earth!  It hurts so to see an animal go hungry, have no home and to be treated badly - not to mention this horrid animal testing that takes place!

I met my caring husband when I saw him in the middle of a busy highway helping an injured dog.  Sweet pooch survived - we named her Clancy - and she is still thriving today!   Now 7 years later - and three children  plus our rescued animals -   13 horses, a burro, 3 llamas, 2 goats, 5 cats and 5 more dogs, a bunny and lots of chickens - we're going strong and doing what we can to help ..and as said wish it was more.  We are also home right now for 3 horses and two dogs belonging to soldiers serving in Afghanistan .. .how we treasure them and their fellas!
